Experienced tiny toes ballet teachers

We are experienced educational practitioners in physical development and movement. With 15 years experience of teaching the EYFS curriculum through dance, we offer bespoke tiny toes ballet workshops and creative sessions. Covering all topics we teach in mainstream and special needs schools for children from 3- 11 years old and ballet for one year olds and above in your nursery setting.

Tiny toes ballet at Great Ormond Street Hospital

"As part of our extended school year programme of activities, tiny toes ballet delivered a ballet, mime and movement workshop to patients and siblings at The Children’s Hospital School, at Great Ormond Street.

The 2 hour workshop was a huge success. Approximately 12 children took part. Ballet for one-year-olds was offered but the majority of patients were aged 3-11 years and with a wide range of access needs and abilities. The session finished with a short tiny toes ballet performance for families and carers which was very well received. Emma and Bianca, the tiny toes ballet teachers, were highly motivated and skilled in leading and facilitating the session, ensuring that all the children were included and able to participate to their full potential.

The workshop provided many excellent learning opportunities and was safe and fun. On the basis of our recent experience, I would thoroughly recommend Tiny Toes Ballet Ltd to other school, nursery and hospital settings."

Tiny toes ballet allows children to explore their natural desire to move

Ballet for one year olds, ballet for toddlers, ballet for three-year-olds, ballet for everyone! All children respond to music and role-play, and our tiny toes ballet ethos focuses on a child-centred approach to learning.

Our tiny toes ballet workshops can be planned around any theme or school topic. We create a bespoke lesson for your class using your medium-term learning objectives and teaching outcomes (including Curriculum Cymreig if required). Offerings can include Space adventure, Weather, Travel, Traditional stories, Down in the Jungle, Under the Sea, Welsh Fables, Historic topics, or Traditional dances from specific countries for example.

As well as gaining confidence, self-esteem, and well-being from the session, pupils will also meet specific cross-curricular learning objectives and outcomes. After the session, the teacher will be left with a comprehensive plan, lots of ideas, and resources.

For nursery settings, we provide you with a weekly learning outcome that all children, from ballet for one-year-olds upwards, will achieve. This can then be shared with parents and carers.
