Dancing for a Cause:tiny toes ballet Essex Mid & South Raises £3,000 for GOSH

On Sunday, 18th August, the Leigh Community Centre was filled with joy, laughter, and dance as tiny toes ballet Essex Mid & South hosted a special fundraising event for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. In honour of some of their very poorly tiny toes students and all those who have been under the care of this incredible hospital, the community came together for a day full of fun and heartwarming activities.

The event welcomed families and children of all ages, celebrating the magic of kids' ballet and dance. The children enjoyed an array of activities, including dancing games, crafts, and an enchanting visit from princesses. The day also featured face-painting, hair-braiding, and delicious cakes, all in support of a wonderful cause.

Miss Natalie, the owner of tiny toes ballet Essex Mid & South said:

"I chose to run this event in honour of some very poorly tiny toes students. The idea initially began because of two special extremely brave dancers who are currently receiving treatment at GOSH but, it quickly became known to us that many other students have had care there in the past too. It's a charity close to tiny toes ballet's heart, so we knew we had to do something but never in our wildest dreams did you imagine raising over £3k. We are overwhelmed, grateful and proud to say the least."

"A special thanks to all those that volunteered and supported us in making the event one to remember - the Essex Mid & South team, local businesses and my family."

Every penny raised, a total of £3,000, went directly to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. The funds will help provide vital support to children in need of specialised care. This incredible success was a testament to the spirit of the tiny toes ballet Essex Mid & South community, who came together to show their love and support for such an important cause.

The event was more than just a fundraiser; it was a celebration of the joy that kids' ballet and dance bring to children’s lives.

Tiny toes ballet Essex Mid & South proved that the power of community, love, and dance can make a big difference. Here’s to dancing for a cause, and we look forward to continuing to support the charity with plans for a big fundraiser early next year.
